N
This is not a metric, but the number of pulses detected for metrics in the file.
PMC
The proportion of maximum frequency to characteristic frequency. PMC = 100 x (FMax – Fc)/Fc
Quality
The average smoothness for the whole call. Smoothness is the absolute value of the difference between the frequency of any point and the average of the frequencies of the points either side of it, divided by the frequency of that point. These values are summed over the whole call, and the result divided by the […]
S1
The slope of the first five points in a pulse, measured in Octaves per Second (OPS).
Sc
Characteristic Slope; the slope of the body of the call, measured in Octaves Per Second (OPS).
Send
The slope of the last 5 ZC dots in each pulse.
Smax
The maximum amount of slope occurring over 2 to 5 ZC dots within the pulse, relating to the steepest part of the pulse.
Smin
The minimum amount of slope occurring over 2 to 5 ZC dots within the pulse, relating to the flattest part of the pulse.
TBCS
Time Between Call Starts; the time from the start of one pulse until the start of the next pulse.
Tc
The time from the start of the call to the characteristic section, measured in milliseconds (ms).
