The perfect solution for raising your detector or microphone off the ground. The extension pole kit is lightweight, easy to carry, and takes minutes to set up. The extension kit meets the 2017 USFWS Indiana and northern long-eared bat summer survey guidelines for acoustic surveys that have a minimum height requirement from ground.
Two extension pole lengths are available (both meet USFWS criteria):
- 6-12 feet - $175.00
- 8 to 16 feet - $200.00
The kit includes:
- 1 extension pole
- 3 stakes
- 1 spool and 3 pieces of rope (to tie off or tie to stakes for added stability)
- Ball head mount adapter (for attaching the appropriate mount - parabola, weatherhead, threaded adapter, or bracket)
- 1 center stake (driven into the ground for the extension pole to stand on)
