    Information

    Details

Two D-cell battery options are available: alkaline and lithium ion batteries.

    Alkaline (1.5 volt, 19 mAh):

The package includes 4 Energizer max+power seal batteries with up to 10-year shelf life means you'll always have power when you need it most.

The Titley Roost Logger requires a total of 4 D-cell alkaline batteries. Please see the Roost Logger manual for information on  approximate alkaline battery life based on desired recording schedule.

    Lithium Ion (3.6 volt, 19mAh):

Batteries sold in a pack containing 2 batteries.

The Titley Roost Logger requires a total of two D-cell 3.6 volt lithium ion batteries (or otherwise 4 D-cell alkaline). Please see the Roost Logger manual for information on approximate lithium ion battery life based on desired recording schedule.

Lithium ion batteries provide more energy to the Roost Logger at low temperatures. If the detector is used outdoors during the winter or inside a cave or mine, the detector is likely to last longer using lithium ion batteries than alkaline batteries if set to the same recording schedule.
