The AnaBatTM Equalizer combines hardware and software solution for accurate sensitivity adjustment of Anabat detectors. Setting the sensitivity of your Anabat bat detectors has never been easier!
The AnaBatTM Equalizer is specially designed to help make standardising your sampling effort among detectors and/or across time quick and easy.
The system consists of:
- - A new AnaBatTM Chirper II
- - A jig
- - Accompanying software
The new AnaBatTM Chirper II is a revision of the original chirper with additional features designed to make it more flexible and powerful. It plays a variety of different chirps at two widely different amplitudes so that it can be used for both education as well as calibration.
The jig is a precision tool used to align the AnaBat bat detector and the Chirper II. This step is important so that the bat detector can be accurately and repeatedly set to a chosen sensitivity.
The system also includes user-friendly software which automates the measuring and equalization process, taking the guess-work out of setting multiple detectors to the same sensitivity.
